New Work continued

New Work continued is a site specific installation responding to the recent redevelopment of The Wilson, Cheltenham, created for The Open West 2013.

It investigates and reimagines The Wilson through intertwining studies of its current form with explorations of its lost, potential and future states, both known and imagined. It incorporates drawing, intaglio printmaking, projection, photography and moving image.

The installation includes a film projected within the frame of what was formerly an external window and a series of works displayed in a print chest within the collections of the museum.

These prints are exhibited alongside New Work, created for part 1 of the exhibition at Newark Park, and the North Place series made during The Open West residency at Meantime Project-Space.
